Email / 2FA / Auth Codes Issues
If your account came with an email, your login details were provided as an email plus an email password. If you only received an email and one password, the email password is usually the same as the game password.

Your account can come with different email providers. If you have issues logging in, contact us and we’ll point you to the correct login steps for your specific email provider.
- If you are already logged in on PS4/PS5, create a new PSN account first.
- Log in to the HoYoverse account site and link an email: https://account.hoyoverse.com/
- Launch the game on the new PSN and log in using the linked email.
Accounts come with an email you can access, so you can take full ownership of what you purchased.
Common Errors
Wait a few days, usually 6 to 7, without attempting to log in. Avoid VPNs and repeated attempts because they can extend the cooldown due to security systems.
If you encounter this issue, please wait a few hours and reinstall the game. After reinstalling, you should see an option to “Transfer Data” and be able to log in successfully.
This is a common technical issue and does not affect the account itself.
This usually means you selected the wrong server or region. Switch server and try again.
Card declines are handled entirely by your bank or card provider, not by us. Here is what usually helps:
- Make sure the billing address entered at checkout matches what your bank has on file. Name, last name and address all need to match the details registered with your credit or debit card.
- Check that your card allows international and online purchases. Some cards have these blocked by default.
- Turn off any VPN before paying. VPNs frequently cause payment failures and are not allowed on our website, as your location appears inconsistent with your card details.
- If the first attempt was declined, wait before trying again, ideally around 30 minutes. Retrying too quickly can make things worse as banks may add extra blocks after multiple failed attempts.
- If none of the above helps, trying a different card is usually the fastest solution. Again, not immediately after a failed attempt.
We do not have visibility into why a specific card was declined and cannot process payments on your behalf. Your bank is the best point of contact if the issue continues.
